Lack of sleep can lead to a myriad of health problems both physically and mentally. We all know that not getting enough sleep can cause irritability and decreased focus but if continuous can lead to more serious health issues such as poor digestion, adrenal fatigue, weight gain, compromised immunity and even depression. Any sleep deprived new parent would agree that a continuous lack of sleep is a particularly cruel form of torture. No doubt we have all, at one time in our lives, experienced feelings of frustration when lying in bed counting the hours left until dawn, wondering why your brain just won’t switch off. You’re not alone. According to an Amarach study, one third of Irish adults say they don’t get enough sleep. The bad news is the problem can get worse with age as our sleep patterns tend to change once again. The good news is there are natural remedies that can safely and effectively help you sleep.

Remedies in the form of essential oils can promote ease in falling asleep, staying asleep and achieving a more restful sleep. There are numerous benefits to using pure therapeutic grade essential oils to promote a good night’s sleep.
